The term Cyber Monday was coined years ago as the biggest online shopping day of the year as most people only had broadband internet connections at work, so went online at work on the Monday after Black Friday to search for the items they were unable to get offline over the prior holiday weekend. Nowadays most people have access to the internet at the palm of their hands, but retailers still throw exceptional savings on this marketing holiday.
