Salted Caramel Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients

Pastry for single crust pie (9 inches)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Line a 9″ pie plate with pastry, flute edges.
  3. In a large bowl, combine filling ingredients, let stand for 15 minutes.
  4. Stir well and spoon filling into pastry crust.
  5. Drizzle with 2 or 4 more TBsp of Salted Caramel topping.
  6. For topping, combine flour and brown sugar in small bowl.
    • Cut in butter until crumbly.
    • Stir in nuts, oats and coconut.
    • Sprinkle over pie filling.
  7. Cover the crust edges with a pie crust shield or foil to prevent over-browning.
  8. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
  9. Cool on wire rack.
  10. Serve warm with ice cream!
