Since I love my ipsy subscription box so much, I decided to try another beauty box subscription that is also priced at only $10 per month… Birch Box. Especially as they are currently offering a second box FREE for the first month through our special link!
Inside the big box was two different orange Birch “boxes”. And each one of those orange boxes contained another pretty printed box that is definitely reusable. Each Birchbox subscription box contains a foam cushioning to protect the products inside.
The first Birchbox subscription box contained the following items:
- Curl Keeper Total Control for Frizzy Hair
- Real Chemistry Luminous 3-minute Peel
- Stainiac tint for cheeks and lips
- Daily Correct CC Cream
- Harney & Sons Master Tea Blenders – Hot Cinnamon Spice
- Harney & Sons Master Tea Blenders – Organic Green
Is the value of this box worth $10? The contents are definitely worth more than $10, but considering I probably won't use over half these products, I'm not sure it's worth $10 to me. Luckily, it's only one of two boxes I received for $10, so let's open the next one…
The second Birchbox subscription box included:
- Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo
- Whish Shave Cream
- Supergoop! City Sunscreen Serum
- Mally Volumizing Mascara
- Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Hibiscus (full-size)
- Shine On! Compact Mirror
Now this box has more products that I may consider using and is worth $10 to me, especially if you click on each link to see how much they normally sell for. Since I got both boxes for only $10 (there is even free shipping), I'll consider the first box to be my free Birch box.
Birchbox is a great way to try new beauty products before you buy full-size items of luxury cosmetics and skincare items.
