Oreo Balls are seriously one of my kids’ favorite Christmas candy to eat. Getting them to help make them is a different story!
Oreo Balls Recipe
- 1 – 15.5 oz package Oreo cookies (any kind, can even be generic like I used)
- 1 – 8 oz package cream cheese (any kind)
- 1 – 20 oz package vanilla almond bark (can substitute chocolate as well to make them more truffle-like)
Unwrap cream cheese and let soften in bowl. Crush cookies (I use a rolling pin and beat the package before opening it). Mix cookie crumbs with cream cheese with mixer or blender (will be sticky). Refrigerate a bit to cool so balls will be easier to form. Form into balls and then refrigerate (or I freeze them) again to make the balls easier to handle when dipping. Melt almond bark in microwave and dip balls into bark and let harden on wax paper. Decorate with sprinkles or colored bark if you desire. Makes about 5-6 dozen (depending on how big you make your balls).
Enjoy your Oreo Cookie Balls!
