Kim & Tatym Approved: $9.95 Glasses from @ZenniOptical

Kim & Tatym's Zenni Glasses Photo

Last month, I had my friends and family vote on which new eyeglasses looked best on me. See choices here. Over 200 people voted via social media, and #3 was the crowd favorite, while #1 was the least voted on. Well, obviously my taste is different than my peers in that #1 is my favorite, and #3 is my least favorite!

In fact, my “mini-me” daughter, Tatym, liked the #1 pair so much that she asked me to order her a pair just like them! I already spent over $200 on a pair of glasses for her from Eyeglasses.com back in March, but how could I resist ordering her a spare pair when Zenni sells these for only $9.95?!

The style we bought and are wearing is frame number 278216 from ZenniOptical.com (we used our $4 selfie stick for the photo opp). The image from the website shows the frame as being more of a royal blue color, when in fact, they are actually more of a dark, dark blue that look black from a distance. I like the pop of color on the temples. And yes, they really are only $9.95, and that cost includes the lenses, anti-scratch coating, UV protection plus free case and cloth. I upgraded to add anti-reflective coating for only $4.95 to help with night driving. Shipping is only $4.95 no matter how many pairs you buy. And with frames as low as $6.95, you can order several pairs to switch out and match your wardrobe. I've taken these glasses to my eye doctor to have them double the check the prescription strength, and they are spot on! Kudos to Zenni!

Everyone already says that my youngest daughter looks exactly like me (poor girl). In fact, when I posted a photo of her recovering from ear surgery, people commented that at first glance, they thought she was me! Well now she looks even more like me since we have the same eyeglasses!
