Summer Movie programs for 2016

Looking for ways to entertain your kiddos this summer? Check out this list of seven Summer Movie Programs for 2016. Special thanks to Mary from Mission to Save for this list.

  1. CineMark Century Theaters: There are two different money saving movie programs at CineMark. One, you can pay $5 per person for 10 shows when you buy them in advanced. Or, two, you can buy your tickets at the show for $1 each. Show days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday. See participating CineMark locations. Please note that some Rave Theaters are now owned by CineMark, so call your location to see if they participate.
  2. Cineplex (Canada only): Attend Saturday mornings at 11 am for their Cineplex Family Favourites. You can watch a family favorite film each week for only $2.99 at participating locations. See the movie list here.
  3. Classic Cinemas: Beginning June 8th, 2016. Wednesday Morning Movie Series begins. Each Wednesday morning at 10 am, the ticket prices are just $1, and all movies are rated G or PG. See the full list here.
  4. Harkins Theater: There are two options: you can buy the season pass which equates to less then $1 per movie as there are 10 movies in the season, or you can buy tickets the day of the movie for only $2 per ticket. Showtimes are at 9:45 am.
  5. Marcus Theaters: From June 12th through August 17th, 2016, on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10 am, you can view your favorite family flicks for only $3! Plus score 2 FREE tickets by visiting a participating American Family Insurance agent. See more details and the movie line up here.
  6. Regal Cinemas $1 Movies: All summer long, you can see movies for just $1 per ticket for select PG movies! Showtimes are at 10 am, and a portion of the proceeds goes to the Will Rogers Institute. See locations and available films here.
  7. Showcase Cinemas Bookworm Wednesdays (Select Locations): Every Wednesday, kids can bring in a book report (unless they are six years of age or under, then admission will be free) in exchange for the cost of admission. This program runs every Wednesday at 10:00 am. See the list of shows here.
