How Disney Vacation Payment Plans Work

Using the Disney payment plan is simple and allows you to spread the cost of your vacation out over a set number of interest-free payments. Once you've selected your vacation package, you must immediately put down a $200 deposit to reserve your spot. Once this payment is complete, you can pay the remainder of your balance using payments in whatever amount you'd like, as long as it's paid in full forty-five days before your trip.

Are there penalties or fees? 

Disney doesn't charge fees or penalties as long as you pay your balance within your allotted amount of time, giving you the flexibility to customize your payments to fit your budget. Many people choose to time their vacation with their tax returns or bonuses, allowing them to plan their trip and pay later for it. Disney makes it easy to track your balance and make payments on Disneyworld.com, taking the guesswork out of what you owe and the length of time until your balance is due in full. Simply register and receive access to all your payment information whenever and wherever!

How flexible is my reservation?

You can also choose to add a pin code to your account, which allows you to reduce your vacation time by switching resorts inside your forty-five day window. While this option is great for those who enjoy having the peace of mind knowing they can modify their stay if they desire, it may incur a $50 service fee when used. Another fee to be aware of is a non-refundable travel insurance cost that is added to all Disney vacation packages. This charge is unavoidable as it is a default feature unless booking by phone, where you will have the option to cancel it during your reservation setup.

Do I have to pay interest fees if I use Disney financing?

Using Disney's payment plan option is an incredible alternative to high-rate credit cards since there is no interest fee on the balance, and you have the flexibility to choose the amount you'd like to make each payment. Although if you default on your payments, you will lose your $200 non-refundable deposit, as long as you make your payments, it's an excellent way to put your Disney vacation easily within reach.

Can I only buy theme park tickets with financing?

It is important to note that if you are only purchasing Disney theme park tickets, there is no payment plan option, and the balance must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Payments plans are only accepted when choosing a vacation package that includes staying at a Disney resort.

Disney World Financing with My Plan

When planning your Disney World Florida vacation, choosing their payment plan is an easy way to make it more affordable by spreading the payments out over a specified amount of time. Once you've created your profile on the Disney World website, you can begin planning your vacation using My Plan.

How My Plan Works:

My Plan allows you to design and choose your resort, dining, hotels, park tickets, and reservations. It then organizes them into a daily itinerary and schedules payment reminders so you never miss when a payment is due.

My Plan Mobile App:

There is a free mobile app available that allows you to access your information and make updates as needed, providing a stress-free way to pay for and plan your trip. You must complete all Disney World payments in full forty-five days prior to your visit; however, hotel reservation payments may be paid upon arrival after making the initial down payment.

Features of Disney Mobile App:

The app lets you view and update your plans, make dining reservations, search maps of all 4 theme parks, get real-time attraction wait times and more. It also gives you access to a Disney MagicMobile pass—a convenient and another contactless way to use MagicBand features, like theme park entry, through the power of eligible iPhones, Apple Watch or Google Pay enabled Android phones.

Disney Vacation Payment Plan

The Disney Vacation payment plan is the perfect way to plan your Disney vacation across multiple Disney locations. After placing your $200 non-refundable deposit, you will have the flexibility to choose your payment amount over time, completing the balance forty-five days before visiting the Disney park.

The Disney Vacation payment plan allows you to choose your favorite Disney resort, dining, and park tickets, to create a fully customized holiday experience. Using MyPlan, you can track and make payments, make changes to your reservations, and plan your trip all from your computer or mobile phone.

Disney Magic Key Payment Plan

The Disney Magic Key Payment Plan is a reservation-based program allowing admission into either one or both of the Disneyland Resort theme parks. The Magic Key program provides holders with many benefits, including the ability to make multiple reservations at a time, discounts on Disney Genie+ services, discounted parking, unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads, 15% off on select dining, and 20% off on select merchandise. Enchant Key

Imagine Key

Disney Cruise Payment Plan

While Disney Cruises don't offer official payment plans for their guests; they do allow you to pay your balance over time after your initial deposit. Payments must be made in full sixty days prior to departure to maintain your reservation aboard the Disney Cruise Line. Guests can track their payment plans and balance and plan their time while on board their cruise ship through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. The amount of deposit required is dependent on multiple factors, including the chosen cruise and dates, number of guests, length of cruise, and cabin.
