Remember my rant about Victoria Secret's misleading pajama ad? Well, when I went to an actual store, I decided to feel the material of their pajamas. The Afterhours Satin pajamas, that I thought I wanted, actually felt too silky. I was afraid I'd be sliding all over the place wearing them!

I usually don't like flannel pajamas because the flannel has always been thick and hot to wear, but when I felt the texture of The Dreamer Flannel pajamas, I knew I wanted to try them. Of course, I also didn't want to pay full price, so I decided to wait until they had their holiday collection on clearance. I scored my VS jams for only $24.99 (originally $54.40). I chose the pink with gray polka-dots pattern as I didn't think they looked Christmasy.

And I fell in love. The fabric doesn't feel like traditional flannel at all. To me, it feels like cotton fabric that's been washed a million times. Super comfy. I hope to visit a Victoria Secret Outlet location to see if I can buy all my daughters (and me) matching flannel pj's for next Christmas. And next time, I visit a brick and mortar VS store, I want to check out the Mayfair pajama collection to see exactly what that fabric feels like (the site says it's imported cotton/model) and the new Sleepover Knit pajama collection (cotton/polyester/Lurex threads). I have a feeling I'll like the Sleepover Knit.
