My daughter, Mallory, and I have “TV date nights” and last night was one of them. On Tuesday nights, we watch “This is us” and “Chicago Fire”. Anyone else watch these amazing shows on NBC? Well, Mallory was flipping channels, and I caught a glimpse of a TV anchor lady wearing MY dress!
I had Mallory stop the TV, so I could grab a pic of the famous meteorology dress on the ABC evening news last night. If you google “meteorology dress“, you'll read on People, USA Today and Buzzfeed that this particular dress is the most common dress among anchor women and meteorologists.
Why is this dress so popular among female meteorologists and anchor women? One, because it fits all of the requirements for TV (solid color, no patterns, works with green screen) and two, because is highly affordable priced at only $22.99 on Amazon!
After reading the rave reviews, I ordered one of these Homeyee Stretch Tunic Pencil Sheath Dresses for myself to wear at my debut as emcee at Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas as I was actually looking for something with black striped down the sides to make me look slimmer! Plus I like the 3/4 sleeves and adjustable zipper closure on the front.
This dress is available in an array of colors including blue, red, purple, green, pink, carmine (the color I chose), gray and orange. Lynn Terry (shown above with me) also ordered one of the dresses (in green, I believe), and I was hoping she would wear it on the same day as me (but she ended up wearing it the day prior) at the event!
Do you own this dress loved by meteorologists or plan to order one? If so, let me know what color you chose!
