Something To Depend On: Silhouette Active Fit Briefs

You can depend on Kim....

Over 51 million American women experience bladder leakage. That’s 1 in 3 American women! I embarrassed to admit it, but I’m one of those women and am scared to sneeze in public sometimes as I might pee my pants! And if I cough and sneeze at the same time, steer clear! There are many common causes of bladder leakage in women including pregnancy, childbirth and even diabetes. I blame my incontinence on the facts that I’m over 40, have had 4 kids and suffer from interstitial cystitis.

My urologist has suggested I do Kegel exercises and cut back on caffeine and tomato products to prevent my interstitial cystitis from flaring up. But if you know me, you’ll know that I love me some Diet Coke and pizza! I’ve also tried the prescription medication, Toviaz, which helps, but I feel bloated and gained weight with it so stopped.

Depend Silhouette Active Fit briefs

Luckily, the Depend brand just introduced Depend Silhouette Active Fit briefs, a new moderate-absorbency brief that features a thin design for complete comfort with the trusted protection of the Depend brand and a lower rise for an underwear-like look, fit and feel. And the best part? The actually look and feel like real underwear, so you can’t even tell you are wearing them. See my photos above – can you tell I’m wearing one? Nope, I can lead my normal everyday life wearing these. These are definitely not an “adult diaper” as some may have thought.

The Depend brand is also entering their second year #Underwareness, which is a social movement and charitable cause to break down the bladder leakage stigma (so you don’t have to be embarrassed either). Depend is joining forces with CVS Health to support women with bladder leakage as they navigate their path to better health. Visit www.cvs.com/depend to learn more about Depend Silhouette Active Fit. As part of  Underwareness, the Depend brand is:

Encouraging people to show their support for women with bladder leakage. For every photo and video shared using #Underwareness, the Depend brand will donate $1, up to $3 million, through 2016 to fund charities that advance the research and education of bladder leakage!

You can join the Underwareness movement by visiting  by www.Underwareness.com and/or by requesting a Free Sample of Depend Silhouette Active Fit Briefs and together we can show that wearing a different kind of underwear is no big deal.

I am participating in a Vibrant Influencer network campaign for the Depend brand. I am receiving a fee for posting; however, the opinions expressed in this post are my own. I am in no way affiliated with Depend and do not earn a commission or percent of sales.
