Karyn made the ultimate comfort food with left over Christmas ham. This scalloped potatoes and ham casserole recipe is perfect for this crazy cold weather that Nebraska is currently having!
Scalloped Potatoes and Ham Casserole Recipe
- 8 medium potatoes, sliced
- 2 cups cubed ham
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup flour (stir into butter)
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- Pepper to taste
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded American cheese
Slice up potatoes and cube ham. For cheese sauce, add milk to butter and flour mixture and cook until thick. Add cheese, salt and pepper. Alternate layers of potatoes, ham and cheese sauce. Bake 2 hours at 350 degrees.
