Do You Know Your Signature Style?

When you shop, do you find yourself choosing similar styles of clothing items time after time? If so, you probably have a signature style, though you may not have realized it. Determining what your signature style is can help you when you need to choose an important outfit, or when you feel like you don’t have anything to wear. While some women tend to gravitate toward more classic clothing choices, others are more eclectic, and even more are somewhere in between. The following styles are some of the most common for women, and they can help you decide where your tastes lie, but you may also find that you prefer a combination.

Ever Pretty

Timeless

If your closet is filled with little black dresses, dark wash jeans, and white button-ups, then you probably lean more towards a timeless or classic signature style. You probably avoid fads or trends and often stick with pieces that are flattering and beautiful, no matter what else is currently in style.

Edgy

An edgy dresser often has his or her finger on the pulse of the fashion world. If this is you, you probably have the newest and the coolest trends before anyone else does. You probably aren’t afraid to branch out and wear clothing that most people might shy away from. With a great attention to detail, you know that the little things can make or break an outfit.

Feminine

If the current menswear trend does nothing for you, and you would rather put on a skirt than a pair of jeans, then your signature style may be more feminine. Ruffles, ribbons, floral prints, and flowy fabrics are likely the top choice in your wardrobe. You might even like to wear a pair of heels, no matter how much you have to be on your feet.

Determining your personal style can give you more control when you shop, since you are better able to narrow down what you are looking for and where you should look to find it.
