Hand Cream- Coconut Milk
Coconut milk is a real favourite when it comes to whipping up a storm in the kitchen. However it is also a strong contender as one of the best natural beauty treatments out there too. One great use for coconut milk is to use it as a soothing and nourishing hand cream. Keep your coconut milk in the fridge for a few days to make sure that the consistency of the coconut oil is nice and thick. Then just lather away, sit back, relax and let it sink in and work it’s magic.

Exfoliator- Sugar/Salt and Honey
Although sugar and salt may certainly be in the dog house when it comes to healthy eating and healthy bodies, it definitely is not to be sniffed at when it comes to home treatments for gorgeous skin. Homemade sugar scrubs could not be easier to make. Merely mixing together brown sugar and honey will create a wonderfully hydrating and exfoliating scrub that you can use all over your body. Sea salt can also be used for those that prefer it over brown sugar, that is really down to preference. As honey is very sticky make sure that you only use this treatment on wet skin to make sure that it is easy to wash off afterwards.
Face Mask- Yogurt
We are hearing more and more about how bad bacteria is good for our bodies and for our digestive systems. The same can be said for our skin. Using plain, simple cold yoghurt from the fridge works as a really simple, yet soothing face mask. You can try mixing yogurt with cupuacu butter for extra nourishment. If you are not sure about what that is, then read more about cupuacu butter here, where you will be able to find out about the many different benefits to this fruit. Mixing yogurt together with fruits and butters, like cupuacu, you will be able to create a wide range of different face treatments that you can use for everything from moisture boosts, to hydrated masks all the way to antioxidant health masks, depending on the needs of your skin at the time.
Split Ends- Chamomile Tea
Not only is chamomile tea a winner when it comes to helping us get our beauty sleep, it is also a winner when it comes to looking after our hair. If you have problems with split ends, don’t go rushing out for expensive hair creams, as a sachet of chamomile tea is all you need. Boil up a pot of chamomile tea, let it cool and then pour it into your hair, concentrating on the ends. Leave it to work its magic, conditioning your hair and smoothing your split ends for around 30 minutes, before washing off.

Nail Treatment- Beer
Even we were surprised when we heard about this one. Simply mix beer, olive oil and cider vinegar into a bowl and then put your nails in to let them soak. The combination of these three ingredients may sound rather strange, and a little random, however together they offer one of the most invigorating nail treatments out there.
Shampoo- Egg White
The last scent any of us want to think about when it comes to our hair, is egg. However, ironically it is one of the best things for our locks when it comes to keeping them in tip top condition. All you need to do is whip up egg whites into a meringue type thickness and lather it into your hair. It is unbeatable at getting up grease and dirt, but make sure that you don’t use hot water to wash it off, as you will just end up cooking the egg. Hey presto, you have extremely clean and shiny hair.
