Mailbox Monday! Edition 2

Welcome to the second edition of Mailbox Monday!  Check out all the good stuff I got this past week in the mail…

O.P.I Nail Polish in “Mauve-a-rita” – I love the OPI brand, as it dries quickly and does not chip. I usually buy my OPI on for half the retail cost.

Free Address Labels from – I don’t remember requesting these either and don’t see a link on their site offering such.  But lots of other charity sites offer Free Address Labels.

Consumer Reports Magazine – this is one of the few magazine that I actually pay to receive as the reviews are unbiased, and they offer great tips to save time and money.

Free Electronics Gaming Monthly Magazine – my son reads this as he is a big video game fanatic! More Free Magazine Subscriptions.

Gourmet Cookies from Geoff and Drew’s – Yummy!  These would make a great Father’s Day gift to send to Dad if he’s a sweets lover!

I made my own cookies last night for the kids (so I don’t have to share my Geoff and Drew’s cookies), and I have to admit mine turned out pretty darn good as well!  Here’s the recipe…

Choc-Oat-Chip Cookies
1 c margarine (soft)
1 1/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
2 eggs
2 TBsp milk
2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 c oatmeal
1 pkg chocolate chips (I use half a bag)
Mix ingredients.  Drop with scoop onto cookie sheet.  Bake 375 degrees. 9-10 minutes.

That’s all folks for this week’s edition of Mailbox Monday!  Have a good week!
