I absolutely love white wedding cake and frosting! I’ve never actually made a “wedding” cake, but I do decorate cakes once in awhile for various occasions, and I make decorated cookies and cupcakes, so I use this easy-to-make frosting recipe that I got from my mom’s friend, Cheryl Higgins, years ago who actually does bake wedding cakes.
Easy White Wedding Cake Frosting Recipe

I absolutely love white wedding cake and frosting! I use this easy-to-make frosting recipe that I got from my mom's friend, Cheryl Higgins.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 3 TBsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
Mix all the above ingredients together with standing mixer adding more milk as needed for desired consistency.

Recipe for Wedding Cake Frosting
Frosting Ingredients

I use my 20-year old Sunbeam Mixer (shown above) that actually has a “Frosting” setting. Someday I hope to own a KitchenAid mixer!
This is the same frosting that use to frost my Swedish sugar cut-out cookies as well. I simply divide the frosting into smaller bowls to tint with food coloring.
