Is it too early to start thinking about what you want to dress up as for Halloween? Heck no! You need to think ahead if there is a specific costume idea you had in mind, as popular character costumes sell out fast. Plus you can find clearance costumes on sale now that I guarantee won't be around the closer it gets to October 31st.
I recently had the opportunity to review a couple costumes from 3Wishes.com. Keep reading and let me know which one I should wear this Halloween!
This cute plus size Curvy Pink Bewitching Halloween Costume (available in XL & XXL) shown above is currently only $19.98 with free shipping! This is regularly $64.99, so you save $45.01! No, that's not me above (I wish I looked that great!) – that's the image from their website.
And here's me (wearing an XL). The witch hat was different than shown, but I have several witch hats in my clearance Halloween collection if I wanted to go with a more pointy witch hat (this one looks more like a “bad witch” hat with the hooked tip).
I think this costume could serve a dual purpose and be used as bar maid costume if you cut off the black wide sleeves below the pink poufs.
With the new Ghostbusters movie featuring women, you can be assured that Ghostbusters costumes are going to be a hot trend this Halloween. And 3Wishes carries this plus size Sexy Ghostbusters Uniform Costume. Hurry, as it is about sold out! Obviously that's not me shown above either (oy).
I am wearing the plus size Ghostbusters dress costume, but they have a sexier regular sized Ghostbusters romper costume available as well. The belt loops seemed a tad low and the belt too long (better than being too short, so easy to fix), but I liked the length of the skirt as I'm too old for short, short skirts.
I like that this Ghostbuster costume includes a jetpack backpack that can serve dual purpose as my handbag for the evening. So many Halloweens I have struggled with where to keep my money, ID and cellphone while dressed up in a costume, so this addition to the costume is awesome.
So, what do you think? Should I dress up as a witch (or bar maid) or Ghostbusters for Halloween?
