Yesterday was the “last” first day of school for my kids. My “baby” Tatym is senior! And not only was it her first day of school, but it was her first day at a new school! She transferred from our local public school to a private Lutheran school. So that means, she'll have to get up earlier everyday to drive the 15 miles to school, but so far, she's loving it.
One of the differences between the schools (well besides the religious and tuition aspects) is that the public school provided each student with a Macbook laptop to use during the school year. This new school only provides computers for use in their computer lab and lets the kids use their smartphones for some activities. Luckily, we have an abundance of computers here at home for her to use!
So, on Tatym's school supply list was to bring a flash or thumb drive for one teacher and a USB drive for another. There are so many terms for flash drives nowadays!
BestBuy offers a great selection of Back to School products from SanDisk to support safe storage for everything to transfer from device to device.
Since Tatym can use her iPhone at school, I think we should invest in a SanDisk microSD card (capacity options range from 4GB to 200GB) that can be added to a smartphone or tablet so she can add more of the media and apps.
A USB for iPhone and/or iPads makes transfering between iPhones, iPads and computers easy plus Frees up iPhone and iPad memory with both lightning and USB connectors. There is also a dual USB available for Android users.
SanDisk products provides everything from professional-grade camera memory options to point-and-shoot SD cards to microSD cards and more, and they are currently available from BestBuy.com!
