I admit I watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. Having a minor in marketing, I prefer the new ads over the football game. In fact, my original ambition while in high school was to be a commercial artist and write TV commercials. But I guess God had other plans for me.

Last year, it cost companies $2.25 million for a 30-second commercial in Super Bowl XXXIX. I can’t even fathom how many sticks of deodorant Degree had to sell or how many packs of gum Bubblicious had to sell to pay for those ads!

I use GoDaddy.com to register my domain names as they are cheap and easy to use. I was reading their quest to get an ad approved for Super Bowl XL. I admit some of their pleas were a little raunchy. But am anxious to see the final cut tomorrow night.
