Gluten Free Monster Cookie Recipe

My brother not only makes some super cool wine trees, but he also knows how to cook (he’s taken ladies, sorry). When we spent last weekend at his house, he bragged about how good his monster cookies are, which was the inspiration for Tatym’s baking today.

Tatym used Paula Deen’s Monster Cookie Recipe, and they rock!

Monster Cookie Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12-ounces creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup softened butter (Tatym used margarine)
  • 1/2 cup M&M’s candies
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup raisins, optional (Tatym opted them out)
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 4 1/2 cups quick-oatmeal

Bake 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes on lined cookie sheets. Tastes yummy warm or cooled off with a tall glass of milk!

I was skeptical about there being no flour in the recipe, but my mother should be happy as she is on a gluten-free diet but loves baked goods as much as I do!
