It's no secret that Affirm is one of the most popular e-commerce lenders in the U.S. On the site, consumers can buy items from various retailers and pay them back over time. It's just one of many BNPL services dominating the shopping world.

While Affirm is a great site to try, there are many other options as well! Listed below are these options and their differences from Affirm – so you can make an informed decision about the best one for you. Online Stores That Accept Affirm To Buy Now, Pay Later

Zip (formerly Quadpay)

Zip, previously known as QuadPay, is an excellent alternative to Affirm. With Zip, you can add a virtual debit card to your Google or Apple Pay accounts. You can also shop anywhere and pay in four-dollar installments.

It is possible to waive Zip's 7.95/monthly account fee if you make no monthly transactions. However, this isn't possible for those who use Zip very rarely. One advantage of using Zip over Affirm is that it allows more websites, hence giving you more options.

Splitit

If you do not qualify for Affirm due to bad credit, Splitit is the best alternative. This company does not check your credit, so anyone with bad credit scores can use it! Your existing credit card balance will be used as collateral for the loan. You can still open a secured card even if you have a bad credit score or low credit.

Klarna

Klarna is another great site like Affirm. Whereas Affirm offers only two options when it comes to billing, Klarna does the opposite. First, the site allows you to make payments on your balance due immediately. Secondly, you can take out a longer-term installment loan with variable interest rates.

The good thing about Klarna is that it provides flexibility through its three payment plans. You can pay off your balance immediately, divide up your purchase so that all payments are made at once, or make payments over a set period. Klarna purchase power is how they set your credit limit, find out what your max purchase amount is by applying on the Klarna app.

Sezzle

Sezzle is another “Buy Now Pay Later” company. The site has an advantage over Affirm because you can change your payment date after setting it up. Moreover, the company won’t charge you to change your payment date. However, modifications of the due date are free for one purchase only. Many small shops and independent boutique retailers uses Sezzle so it is work applying for credit if you prefer to shop small.

Paypal Credit

Paypal Credit is one of the best alternative methods to Affirm for those with a PayPal account. Many companies today will take your PayPal payments. Therefore, you still have the option of paying even if you don't have funds in your account when making the purchase. Furthermore, as long as you are using PayPal to make your purchase (now or later), you are still able to split the cost between several people.

Uplift

Uplift seems better for traveling needs than Affirm because Affirm only supports limited travel websites. Moreover, airlines are available on Uplift in much greater numbers than on Affirm. Rather than using a third-party website, you can go directly to the airline's website. One of our favorites Southwest Vacations offers Uplift to finance everything from the flight to full packages with hotel and rental car.
